Discover the authentic flavors of the Aeolian Islands through a unique tasting experience set in the unspoiled nature of Filicudi. Together with your local host, enjoy a scenic walk through the island’s wild landscapes, surrounded by breathtaking sea views, Mediterranean vegetation, and the peaceful atmosphere that makes Filicudi so special. The walk will lead you to a traditional island home where the tasting takes place. Here, you will explore a curated selection of homemade local products, all prepared during the Aeolian winter using traditional methods and seasonal ingredients. You will taste a variety of authentic island specialties, including: - Fennel pesto and caper pesto - Prickly pear jelly, pomegranate jelly, and orange jelly - Lemon and orange marmalade, orange marmalade, and tomato marmalade - Sea fennel (spaccasassi) in olive oil - Caper tips in olive oil - Rapuddi, caper flowers, caper leaves - Fig jam All served with a glass of good local wine Each product tells a story of Filicudi’s land, its rhythms, and its traditions — a true expression of Aeolian identity. At the end of the tasting, guests will also have the opportunity to purchase the products they enjoyed and bring home an authentic taste of Filicudi.
Cancellation Policy
Your booking is subject to availability and weather conditions. We will contact you within 24 hours to confirm the experience. To ensure the best experience for all guests and our local hosts, any reservation may be cancelled up to 15 days before the scheduled experience with a full refund. Cancellations received less than 15 days in advance are non‑refundable. In the event of exceptional circumstances, please contact us directly — while refunds cannot be guaranteed, we will always do our best to find a suitable solution. To operate this experience, a minimum of 2 participants is required. If the minimum number is not reached at least 48 hours before the start time, the experience may be cancelled, and all guests will receive a full refund. In case of adverse weather or other external circumstances, the Partner reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel the experience if its execution becomes unsafe, impractical, not feasible, or otherwise inappropriate. These measures are taken to ensure the safety and overall quality of the experience.
